St Philips Marsh Neighbourhood Plan

CONCEPT

Bristol City Council has outlined St Philip’s Marsh for redevelopment in the very near future. So far there is vague indication to the type of development proposed on the site with no clear site wide considerations. The concern is that it leaves many areas open to commercial developers that will likely snap up land, resulting in an unfriendly landscape of private buildings that are very much inward facing and don’t take into consideration their surroundings or the existing businesses and communities.

The objective is to develop a Masterplan for the Marsh that focuses on supporting the existing businesses with careful integration of new characteristics such as new regions, accommodation, appropriate distribution & allocation of businesses and green, accessible spaces.
